    Day 1: Casting & Foundations (Lake)

    • Introduction to fly fishing gear and setup

    • How a fly rod works (line, leader, tippet, flies)

    • Basic knot tying: Clinch, Loop, and Surgeon’s

    • Hands-on casting instruction: roll cast, overhead cast

    • Line control and accuracy drills

    • Lakeside casting practice

    Day 2: River Fishing Techniques (River)

    • Reading water: riffles, seams, pools, and where fish hold

    • Entomology 101: Matching the hatch and choosing flies

    • Presentation and drift techniques

    • Basic mending and line management

    • River etiquette and safety

    • Practice fishing with instructor guidance
